This represents a 17.5 <\/span><span style=\"left: 120px; top: 724.6px; font-family: serif; transform: scaleX(1.00006);\" dir=\"ltr\">percent decrease compared to the 4,032 homes listed in August 2021 and a 16 percent decrease <\/span><span style=\"left: 120px; top: 747.6px; font-family: serif; transform: scaleX(1);\" dir=\"ltr\">compared to July 2022 when 3,960 homes were listed.<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page2202R_mcid14\" class=\"markedContent\"><\/span><span id=\"page2202R_mcid15\" class=\"markedContent\"><br \/><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span id=\"page2202R_mcid15\" class=\"markedContent\"><span style=\"left: 120px; top: 793.6px; font-family: serif; transform: scaleX(1.00293);\" dir=\"ltr\">The total number of homes currently listed for sale on the MLS&reg; system in Metro Vancouver is <\/span><span style=\"left: 120px; top: 816.6px; font-family: serif; transform: scaleX(0.999835);\" dir=\"ltr\">9,662, a 7.3 percent increase compared to August 2021 (9,005) and a 6.1 percent decrease <\/span><span style=\"left: 120px; top: 839.6px; font-family: serif; transform: scaleX(0.999745);\" dir=\"ltr\">compared to July 2022 (10,288).<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page2202R_mcid16\" class=\"markedContent\"><\/span><span id=\"page2202R_mcid17\" class=\"markedContent\"><br \/><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span id=\"page2202R_mcid17\" class=\"markedContent\"><span style=\"left: 120px; top: 885.6px; font-family: serif; transform: scaleX(0.999991);\" dir=\"ltr\">&ldquo;Home buyers and sellers are taking more time to assess what this changing landscape means for <\/span><span style=\"left: 120px; top: 908.6px; font-family: serif; transform: scaleX(1.00349);\" dir=\"ltr\">their housing needs,&rdquo; Lis said. &ldquo;Preparation is critical in today&rsquo;s market.
