This represents a 23.1 <\/span><span style=\"left: 120px; top: 740px; font-family: serif; transform: scaleX(0.999868);\" dir=\"ltr\">per cent decrease compared to the 7,938 homes listed in April 2021 and an 8.5 per cent decrease <\/span><span style=\"left: 120px; top: 763px; font-family: serif; transform: scaleX(1.00041);\" dir=\"ltr\">compared to March 2022 when 6,673 homes were listed. <\/span><span style=\"left: 120px; top: 809px; font-family: serif; transform: scaleX(1.00282);\" dir=\"ltr\">The total number of homes currently listed for sale on the MLS&reg; system in Metro Vancouver is <\/span><span style=\"left: 120px; top: 832px; font-family: serif; transform: scaleX(0.999922);\" dir=\"ltr\">8,796, a 14.1 per cent decrease compared to April 2021 (10,245) and a 15.3 per cent increase <\/span><span style=\"left: 120px; top: 855px; font-family: serif; transform: scaleX(0.999562);\" dir=\"ltr\">compared to March 2022 (7,628).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span id=\"page2198R_mcid21\" class=\"markedContent\"><br \/><span style=\"left: 120px; top: 901px; font-family: serif; transform: scaleX(1.00351);\" dir=\"ltr\">&ldquo;With interest rates climbing and the total inventory of homes for sale inching higher, it&rsquo;s <\/span><span style=\"left: 120px; top: 924px; font-family: serif; transform: scaleX(1.00021);\" dir=\"ltr\">important to work with your local Realtor to understand how these factors could affect your <\/span><span style=\"left: 120px; top: 947px; font-family: serif; transform: scaleX(0.999421);\" dir=\"ltr\">home buying or selling situation<\/span><span style=\"left: 378.727px; top: 947px; font-family: serif;\" dir=\"ltr\">,<\/span><span style=\"left: 383.727px; top: 947px; font-family: serif; transform: scaleX(0.997052);\" dir=\"ltr\">&rdquo; John said. <\/span><span style=\"left: 120px; top: 993px; font-family: serif; transform: scaleX(0.999612);\" dir=\"ltr\">For all property types, the sales-to-active listings ratio for April 2022 is 36.7 per cent.
