Luckily everyone with a social heart the city of Port Moody has a stellar events calendar flush with activities scattered throughout the prime of fall. Currently the city has events scheduled for eighteen days over the next six weeks; from plays, film/comedy nights, an Ocktoberfest celebration, tree planting, and live music nights--the aptly named city of the arts has you covered.
Anti-Racism Talk
"The Tri-Cities Local Immigration Partnership (TCLIP) and the Port Moody Police Department will host a dialogue to strengthen the community's capacity to respond to incidents of racism. This will be an opportunity for you to:
- Build empathy and allyship through reflective conversations with diverse community members living in the Tri-Cities; and
- Empower yourself to support those impacted by racism; and
- Access effective tool and resources to mobilize when racism incidents occur."

Film Night | Another Round
"In Thomas Vinterberg’s film “Another Round,” four Danish men, all schoolteachers, embark on a pseudoscientific quest: to see if drinking daily will pull them out of their midlife slumps. In some ways, drinking is a very small part of this story, as we follow these men in the tragicomic throes of midlife crisis."

"A one-day beer drinkin’ bratwurst eatin’, schunkeln, Oktoberfest stylin’ good time! We’ve got beer, music, food, games and contests. As custom dictates, during Oktoberfest in Munich, beer from only 6 Munich breweries is served. Isn’t that a fun coincidence! We will be pouring lagers/pilsners from the 6 breweries from Port Moody’s Brewer’s Row."

Bowie the Tribute

10th Annual Art 4 Life Exhibition
"From fine art to fun art, this group exhibition is geared to the young and the young at heart. Art 4 Life includes art and activities for the whole family. The goal is to cultivate artistic growth in our community by inspiring and engaging children, while raising opportunities for active participation and discussion."
