Luckily for new and lifelong residents alike the city of Port Moody has a stellar events calendar ripe with activites throughout the month. Currently the city has events schedualed for ten days in November; from art exhibits, to film presentations, plays and concerts--the aptly named city of the arts has you covered.
Art To Go:
Port Moody Art Association invites you to the 53rd Annual Exhibition and Sale of Original Artwork. Unframed work and Art Cards available for purchase. Art To Go is a different format than in the past. You may take your purchase home immediately at the point of sale.

Bowie The Tribute & Feelin' Alright:
An incredible salute to two of rock's most iconic recording artists is celebrated in a live musical theatre performance! BOWIE the Tribute & FEELIN' ALRIGHT will help you "re-live the reality" and dance in the aisles! After a two year hiatus, BOWIE the Tribute is back and has teamed up with FEELIN' ALRIGHT to bring you a double shot of the Starman with the Mad Dogs & Englishmen! Bring your family and friends and... "LET'S DANCE & FEEL ALRIGHT!!"

Port Moody Film Society - Persepolis
Persepolis is an emotionally powerful, dramatically enthralling autobiographical gem. Depicted in simple, bold and effective black and white images, a precocious and outspoken Iranian girl grows up during the Islamic Revolution. Based on the graphic novels by the Franco-Iranian artist Marjane Satrapi, it is a gripping story of what it is like to grow from a lonely imaginative child into an adult, and to find this internal tumult matched by geo-political upheaval

Photomotion
The 19th annual Photomotion is presented by the Pacific Digital Photography Club. An evening of photography, music and storytelling; a juried selection of slide shows set to music.

Community Invasive Plant Removal
Help us protect our parks and green spaces by removing invasive plants along Shoreline Trail near Pigeon Cove. Meet by the Shoreline Trail sign on the north side of Murray St. located halfway between Klahanie Drive East and Klahanie Drive West. Physical work is required and is off-trail. Wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes or boots and clothes that can get dirty. Event will take place rain or shine - dress for weather. Gloves, eye protection and tools will be provided by Environment and Parks Department. Please bring your own water bottle

The Amorous Ambassador
Czech and Slovak theatre group Theatre Around the Corner presents The Amorous Ambassador. Also includes an exhibition of artworks by Marika Kovalcikova and Adriana Hason in the Galleria. Refreshments available at a fully stocked Zed bar (cash only).
The play is in Czech language with simultaneous interpretation into English at the Friday and Saturday shows.

Fleetwood Magic
Fleetwood Magic, "The Authentic Tribute to Fleetwood Mac.” Transporting audiences on a musical journey that spans albums from 1969 to 1987. They perform Fleetwood Mac’s greatest hits with dynamic harmonies and authentic costumes to recreate the sound, personae and mystique of this iconic band.
