Port Coquitlam Sales March 2021 vs 2020- Detached Homes Soar

Benchmark prices are up across the board in Port Coquitlam between 8-27.7% over thier 2020 counterparts. 
The March benchmark for detached homes was $266,300 higher than its 2020 counterpart.
This marks the eleventh consecutive month over month increase for detached home pricing;

Benchmark pricing has increased over $309,4000 in just 11 months.

New Record:

Port Coquitlam stand alone homes have once again achieved their highest ever benchmark pricing for the fourth consecutive month.

Shattering the record they set last month (February 2020) by $90,800.
The last time prices were at this level of a premium was in May of 2018 when the benchmark price was $1,049,400.
Pricing is now an average of $177,000 above 2018 peak pricing.



Supply has shrunk for condos and townhouse 8% & 43.6 % respectively.
Supply for detached homes has increased over the same period the previous year for the first time since April 2019.
Supply for detached homes is up 11.2% compared to March 2020 which should help level out the ever increases prices.


Sales have increased across the board between 30-189.3%



Single family detached homes continue to remain at the forefront of Port Coquitlam's market with perpetual pricing increases, and ever rising demand.
