Port Coquitlam Sales September 2021 vs 2020- Low Supply & Detached Price Record

Benchmark prices are up across the board in Port Coquitlam between 11.5-24.3% over thier 2020 counterparts, 
which is fairly consistent with August's statistics.

The September benchmark for detached homes was $247,500 higher than its 2020 counterpart.
September marks a new benchmark high for detached homes in Port Coquitalm.

$12,400 higher than May's previous high of $1,253,000. Prices took a dip in June before beginning to steadily climb back up.
The benchmark price for detached homes climbed $16,100 in the last 30 days.

As it did in August, supply continues to stay low for all housing sale.
The entire market was short on supply compared to both September 2020.
Detached homes also saw a decline when compared to August 2021; supply dropped 27.3% comparatively.
Compared to the same time last year supply was down between 27.3-51.9%


While home sales were fairly on par with August 2021, they declined compared to Setember 2020 due in large part to lack of supply.
Detached: -15.6%
Condo: -2.7%
Townhouse: -31.1%


Townhouse benchmark prices may not be increases as rapidly as detached homes, but price have been slowly creeping up since their March 2021 price jump:
